Divino F1 Brussels Sprouts - 3-Pack Plant

UDSA Certified Organic.  Beautiful, uniform, dark green sprouts are medium in size and suited for whole-stalk harvest. With smaller leaves and strong stalks that resist lodging, these plants are designed in a way that helps present disease. This variety is great for late season harvest as it is productive and reliable and produces an abundance of clean, unblemished sprouts.

Each plant is started from certified organic seeds and grown organically at The Bloomery, LLC where it is USDA Certified Organic through the Kentucky Department of Agriculture. Each plant is grown in a 3-inch square pot and shipped in a plastic shell that holds your plant securely in place.

Harvest

Sprout formation will begin at the base of the stalk; to encourage development of the upper sprouts for uniform maturity, pinch out the growing tip of the plant in late summer when bottom sprout is as big as an average thumb. Or, harvest sprouts individually from the bottom of the stalk when they are about 1-1.5” in diameter. Fall planted Brussels sprouts will become sweeter after a few light frosts.

Storage

Store at just above freezing, 95% humidity for 3-5 weeks, or keep in freezer.
